Equinox Pastries and Pops offers custom cake pops, cookies, cakes, pastries and other desserts for any size event, celebration, and wedding! Cookies and cake pops can be fully personalized to order with your events theme, colors, special names/numbers, etc.! All orders are handmade, uniquely individual, and highly detailed (not to mention delicious...).
Available for local pick-up in the Greater Grand Rapids Area! We do not currently have a retail space for individual sale but are looking forward to moving into a physical storefront in the next year or two as we grow!

All food is produced, decorated and packaged in this kitchen. Most order pick-ups will still be located at 7449 Whistlewood SW Byron Center MI 49315 unless requested otherwise!

My name is Rachel Baas!
I started baking as a hobby, making treats for friends and family and later pursued a degree in Culinary Arts with Baking and Pastry as my focus. In 2019, I graduated from Secchia Institute of Culinary Education and started Equinox Pastries and Pops LLC!
I continued my education, graduating from Ferris State University with a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management. I feel in love with the business side of the hospitality industry and the connections made through excellent guest service and delicious desserts!
My goal for Equinox Pastries and Pops is to open a bakery and cafe south of downtown GR in the next few years as I grow out of my current kitchen space! Owning a retail bakery has always been my dream since starting culinary school and I am so blessed to have it within reach!
